Thanks guys, I knew you would like what I found. I was searching for the photos of new dark green-earth camo. Mi-24 and I found that web site.
Buddha, on some of the pages of the link I posted there are more than one photos of Armenian Mi-24
Does anyone have photo of Azeri Mi-24?
Or maybe even Ugandas extremly green Mi-24?

As a matter of fact, I could see neither Su-27 nor Su-24 recognizable in the backdrop. nevertheless, I've been straining all my senses to detect them all you made mention of.

I should like to lean toward MiG-21, instead, That may be all the more reasonable because there's a series of the latest GE images that can be put together to report some active MiG-21MF sitting idle on the ground pitted with revetments in Lubango AB.

Great photos and links as usual Cy24driver1 thanks. The syrian Mi-8 has "naval roundel" I think.

About the angolan Lubango shelters phto. I enclose a new image. I see almost two planes. One silver on the left with the nose covered by blue tarpaulin, seems doble tail fin ¿Su-27?. On the right, one dark brown camouflated plane with black nose. ¿Su-24 iranian style? I not shure.

Regards from Spain.

Cuba, without any doubt. the Abkhazian stuff is ACE! Regarding the Angolan things I'd say it's a Mig-21UM (which are known to wear white camo) and a Mig-23..

Hmm Marocco, Lesotho and Swaziland if I'm right. I think there are also some smaller autonomous tribal kingdoms. One can pretty much rule out Marocco. Swaziland's king already has a hideously expensive private airplane IIRC.

I suppose the photographer meant "african leader" - but since most of these behave as medieval kings, he's not far off the mark

A few meters away from me is the Azerbaijani presidential Airbus. Unfortunately I cannot take or post pictures of it, because the security services will ride my behind.

Near it are the Canadian A310, Bulgarian and Slovak Tu-154, Royal Australian B736 and many more.

Iraqi Mi-17 upgrade

Seems that Iraqs Mi.17s are undergoing an upgrade. This machine was photographed in Poland, and since Armour plating can be fitted locally within Iraq, it would be pretty exspensive to have the choppers shipped to Poland for the work.

Unless that is, they are are recieving upgraded defensive systems aswell?. Does anyone know the extent of the upgrade, and what the hell the orange pitot tube like thing is on the nose?

I`m not that sure that is a new helicopter. I think it`s an ex polish Mi-17. Looks kinda old.
