Emmm what new colours??
Ahh just done a side by side, only diff i see is they have used a smaller man to paint the plane (couldnt reach the windows with his green roller)
Surely they cant claim this as a new colour scheme??

I wouldn't say I love it. It's fine, far better than some efforts of late.
It will ultimately help reduce costs for Alitalia. (Less time needed to paint, less labour)

Aesthetically, I find it pleasing. I'm glad they got rid of the black nose spot, that was a ugly and superfluous feature. Moving of the cheatline from the windows to below seems to add an aire of modernity to the lines of the livery.
I also like what they've done with the tail, should look more impressive on non tail mounted aircraft, where we can see the full effect.

Also, this poll is also a little unfair, you have 2 negative options, one overly positive and one neutral option.

You should have even numbers of Negative and Positive.
A more balanced poll would be:

Love, Like, Dissapointed, Hate and Not bothered

I think its fine just needs getting use to as ALITALIA has always had the green across the windows for years.

Just moved the strip 40in lower and painted the nose all white.
Won't help to pay the debts ...

Definately won't, but will save money on repainting after maintenance.

Well, Italian airlines where never known for their stunning liveries. Coming from a country with top designers in fashion and automotive, this is a dissapointment.

I had to vote not bothered, because although I prefer it to the old livery (its a change at least), I wouldn't say I love it, as required int he poll. Bmused was correct, you didn't have the correct options.

BUT the way I see it is this, its a pretty non-descript livery for an equally non-descript airline!!

It's a pity that they didn't do anything with the grey engine. It doesn't fit with the rest of the colors.

It is practically identical to the older colour scheme, but it is a nice, subtle change. The small changes have really modernised what was an outdated set of colours.
