Swimming, golf, tennis, all girlie sports.
Squash - Ahh yes, like tennis, but twice as dangerous and not as boring.
That and mountain biking - none of that lycra rubbish, just strap a bit of kevlar onto yourself, whack on some suspension with more travel in inches than fingers you posess and hurtle down large hills as 60 m.p.h and hope for the best.

Golf is not girlie!!! x(
I only started last year and I think it is a great game especially if you don't enjoy much sport! On an island with 5 excellent golf courses it s hard to keep away from the game.
I also do quite a bit of water sports such as jet skiing and sailing though I am not that good at it.

"I love playing Cricket as every Indian does..."
How often does the warden let you inmates play?
}>
I play Hockey and run a competition for local primary schools.
As I get older I enjoy the social aspects after each game more than the game itself, but I still like to hit a ball around.
Glenn
Aussie rules and Rugby League???? you truely have turned to the dark side... }>
Surely the first is a contradiction in terms and the latter WAS the rugby game that you made all the money at to play... now you have guys going the other way for the money...
}> }> }> }> }>
I have enjoyed the last few Americas Cup Yachting races. (I enjoyed it when the Aussies won it a few years back too...)

I haven't voted as I enjoy several of the sports listed. I enjoy cricket, I used to have a summer job at my local ground when county championship matches were played (we once played host to the Indian team as well Kabir). I also like to watch rugby union and league and occasionally football. As for participating, I enjoy swimming and horse riding, especially Icelandic horses with their extra gaits!!

Kool...thats nice Comet...anyway Indian team is good for nothing these days except for a few players like the god of world cricket.....Sachin Tendulkar(more than 11,000 runs under his belt).
And garry...the warden lets us play whenever we like...we just have to give him a Rs 100 bill... :9

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 08-04-02 AT 07:51 AM (GMT)]Hello Kelly - no, I don't have my own horse any more. I did have a 12.3hh pony called "Stjarna" - which is Icelandic for "Star", she was a real kind natured pony, good in traffic and fun to ride. My Mum loves Arabians, and I think they are truly elegant. If I had a scanner I'd download a pic of the horses I've ridden, but I won't be getting one until later in the year. Also, I'm really sorry I've been "off" lately, I've been quite stressed out with exams and stuff. I want to put it all behind me and start again on the right footing.
Kabir - Sachin Tendulkar played for my local county - Yorkshire - I can remember him playing on our local ground.
Kelly - if you want to see pics of Icelandics, here is a good website

Comet,
Thanks for the website, it was a good read.
I also had my own horse a few years back a Arabian Stallion of pure evil called Armageddon. I know pure evil sounds like an exageration but he would only let me ride him, and wouldnt let anyone else close to him.
Unfortuantly he had to be put down a few years back and since then I have not got another one, as I cant bare having a new one put down.

I'm a Formula 1 fan. Favourite team has to be Mclaren, I supported them ever since their 1/2 victory in the last race in 1997, if my memory serves me right!! It was the one where Schumacher rammed Villeneuve, and got into a spot of bother!!!! Sadly, I don't think Mclaren will win anything this time round, Coulthard lacks the edge, and Kimi Raikkonen won't be used to the car yet!

I love Field hockey and I'm now getting back in shape for next years season! I played Hockey for my school and then for the RAN, I started out as a right back, or replacement goaly, but when I was in the Navy, I learnt to play Left Wing and I now really love that position.
I also love "Australian" Basketball, the american one is all one person centered and far too fast. And I love squash, AFL (Go the Hawks) and martial arts and cycling.
Well that's my piece said.
Leave no-one behind!

I enjoy a number of sports, I do enjoy a good old game of footy (Leads United rule). But I am most into competitive ballroom & latin dancing. In fact if any of you are going to be watching the commonwealth games (25th July - 4th August), you may well see me dancing, as I have been chosen to dance in the opening & closing ceremonies. I also enjoy scuba diving.
Dancesport rules.

It was damn nearly Rugby for me, League had the edge for me because its faster than Union, but Rugby Union beats Football hands down in my house. I voted other because I can't help but watch the bike racing, now bike racing I love. WSB isn't so good at the moment and I'm not too bothered about GP racing but BSB, IOMTT and all the other non WSB/GP events have the ayes for me.
